Domain URL forwarding allows you to redirect your domain name to another domain. For instance, if you forward the ABC domain to the XYZ domain, then all attempts to access the ABC domain will be automatically redirected to the XYZ domain.
How to Set Up Domain URL Forwarding on LiteCloud.com.ng
Follow these steps to forward your domain URL:
- Log in to Your Client Panel: Access your account by entering your credentials on the LiteCloud.com.ng login page.
- Navigate to Your Domains: Click on “My Domains” in the navigation bar to view a list of your registered domains.
- Select the Domain to Forward: Find the domain you wish to forward and click on the “Manage” button associated with it.

Open Simple DNS Manager: Scroll down to the “Simple DNS Manager” option and click to proceed.

Configure Forwarding Settings: In the Client Area, a table will appear where you can set up forwarding for your domain. Fill in the fields as follows:
- Host Name: Enter “@” to represent your domain.
- Record Type: Select “URL Redirect” from the drop-down menu.
- Address: Enter the URL where you want to redirect your domain.
- Priority: Leave this field blank.

Save Your Changes: After completing the fields, scroll down and click on the “Save Changes” button.
By following these steps, you will successfully forward ‘yourdomain.com’ to the URL of your choice. Now, ‘yourdomain.com’ will automatically redirect visitors to the new destination you’ve set.
